Data is just another word for lots of little bits of ideas. These ideas come from answering questions. Imagine your Lego box, filled to the top with hundreds of coloured bricks. You can’t build anything until you put them together.
 

That’s what collecting data helps the government of the UAE to do. We put different bits of data together to build a bigger picture and solve problems. All sorts of things – like buses, the metro, even Google Maps – use data. Without data we would get very lost!
